Buena Vista Parks & Recreation Board
Buena Vista Parks & Recreation Board was established in 1986, and is a volunteer committee who assist
with culture and recreation programs in the community. Parks & Rec
members also help to plan and develop park space within the Village.
Through
funding from Sask Lotteries, the Parks & Rec Board assists with
programs such as the South Shore Ball Association, the Regina Beach
Library, and the Last Mountain Lake Cultural Centre.
The Parks
& Rec Board fund raises in order to provide free programs to the
community. These include events like the Pumpkin Carving Contest, Winter Carnival, and the annual bus
trip to Moose Jaw. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every
month, commencing at 7:00
pm, at the Village Office.
Parks
and Rec fundraiser - A reminder that the board collect bottles and cans year
round. If you have any to donate please place them at the east side of
the Village Quonset. Thank you for your support!
