Dobson Park Outdoor Rink

Home of the Parks & Recreation Board Annual Winter Carnival

Strap on your skates! Head over to Buena Vista Rink and enjoy some outdoor skating! Whether you want to skate figure eights around your friends with the wobbly ankles, face off with a puck to finally decide who’s the superior sibling or simply sip hot chocolate on the sidelines, let the BV Outdoor Rink be a part of your winter wonderland!

The Outdoor Rink is open during the winter months.
The ice is flooded by the Village Public Works' Crew and the volunteer Parks & Recreation Board help maintain the shack and
opens & closes the warm-up shack daily (weather dependent).

Rink Rules

  • SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK

  • Please be careful, the ice surface is not indoor arena quality.

  • Use of tobacco or alcohol products is strictly prohibited.

  • Abusive language and behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Respect others and share the rink accordingly.

  • HAVE FUN!

Remember, this rink does not have a volunteer base. If there is snow on it, users should grab a shovel and help clean it off.
The maintenance on the ice surface will be variable as the Village will try to accommodate flooding of the surface with other duties within the Village (roadways, clearing, etc.)
