Buena Vista's Water Quality
Everyone in Saskatchewan needs a good supply of safe, clean drinking
water. Drinking water in Saskatchewan is required to meet the water quality standards defined in The Waterworks and Sewage Works Regulations
and summarized in the Drinking Water Quality Objectives.
The Village owns and is responsible for our municipal drinking
water facility and its operation. Water quality is tested daily in house and once per
week is sent for testing at the Provincial Lab. Water provided for drinking or
hygienic use must be provided by systems approved by Water Security
Agency (WSA) and maintained in accordance with the regulations by the
permittee of the waterworks.
