* * UPDATE: Due to the updated weather forecast, the event start date has been moved up to Tuesday, June 30 at 8:00 am. * *

The Village is proud to host an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most tree seedlings planted in a 24-hour period. Volunteer Kenny Chaplin is taking on the incredible challenge of planting 25,000 trees in just 24 hours!

🌲This ambitious project will create a legacy forest, providing a beautiful outdoor recreational space for our community and surrounding area to enjoy for generations to come.

⚠️COYOTE ALERT - PLEASE USE CAUTION⚠️

Residents are advised that there is increased coyote activity within the community. A family of approximately 8 coyote pups has denned near the Buena Vista beach area, and sightings have occurred throughout the whole Village.

For everyone's safety, please:
- Keep all pets in your yard & on a leash at all times when outside your yard
- Do not allow children to play unattended
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times

Critter Gitter is actively working to remove the coyotes; however, this is not always a quick process and may take a bit of time.

If you observe any coyote activity or sightings, please text 306-540-3178 with the date, time and location of sighting.
