Coexisting with Wildlife: Coyote Awareness

The Village has received reports of coyotes. Encounters with wildlife - including coyotes - are a natural part of life in our area. Coyotes are highly adaptable and activity may increase in spring/early summer due to denning and pup season.

While we understand that sightings can be concerning, please note that the Village does not have authority or the resources to trap or remove wildlife. Wildlife primarily falls under provincial jurisdiction, specifically through the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment. Our role is to help monitor sightings and share safety tips.....click HERE for more.
