Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory will be in effect
October 1st until further notice for all residents on Buena Vista Bay.

The Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory is due to the curbstop repairs taking place on Buena Vista Bay.

Hydrant Flushing Oct 2 & 3

The Village crew flushes hydrants twice per year (spring & fall). The fall flushing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2nd & Thursday, October 3rd.
Hydrant flushing is the quick release of water from fire hydrants – a controlled procedure that is vital to the general maintenance of our water distribution system, and ensures you have access to clean, safe drinking water. It also ensures that hydrants are operating effectively in case of an emergency.

Thinking of Running for Council? Here's what you need to know to determine if you are eligible.

  • At least 18 years of age on day of election

  • A Canadian Citizen at time of nomination paper submission

  • Resided in Saskatchewan for at least 6 consecutive months before nomination paper submission

  • Resided in the Village for at least 3 consecutive months before nomination paper submission

No candidate can nominate themselves.

The Onus to submit a complete & truthful nomination paper is on the person nominated.

Friendly Reminder! 
Please Remove any vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. on streets & Easements by October 15th. If not removed you may be subject to bylaw enforcement.

We realize no one wants to hear the 'S' word yet, however, now is the time to remind our residents now that summer toys are starting to be stored & our seasonal residents are closing up for the season. Your Village crew relies on your support so snow removal operations can be completed effectively & efficiently.

Reminder that homeowners with seasonal water lines must make an appointment to disconnect their water no later than September 30th. 48 business hours notice is required to book an appointment….which means September 26th is the last day you can book to ensure it’s turned off by the deadline. Please note that availability of requested date or time is not guaranteed.
