You may have noticed large silky webs appearing at the ends of tree branches around the Village - these are caused by the Fall Webworm, a native caterpillar common in late summer and early fall.

🐛 What Are Fall Webworms?
Fall webworms are the larvae (caterpillars) of a white moth. They spin large webs around the tips of tree branches and feed on the leaves inside. While the webs can look alarming, the damage is mostly cosmetic and rarely harms healthy, established trees.
